Fun Stuff

This page shares some random tidbits about my project and some obscure Crosley information. Enjoy!

This is a snapshot from a recording of the 1952 New York Auto Show, courtesy of the Crosley club’s website. Notice the already wrinkled seat fabric and the rough protective material on the underside of the car. The headlights appear to be black, but it is quite hard to tell. The man immediately to the left of the car is Lewis Crosley.

This photo of a Hotshot from the 1949 Life Magazine shows it with and without its removable items for racing. Again notice the wrinkled seats, very surprising for a brand new car (but I wouldn’t put it past Crosley!). The headlights appear to be red, as can be seen in the 1951 sales book.

In the background of most wide shots of my project, you can see an unassuming white truck. This truck is a 1998 GM S10 EV, which is the rarest GM truck that exists - there are only 14 still around. It was produced in tandem with the GM EV1, which was the first modern electric car.
